There are a variety of baling machines and equipment, we'll discuss only one type of machine, but the basic safety rules apply to almost all types of equipment.
Topics covered in this safety video include: follow your company's policies and procedures, the gate or mechanical guard, baler operators, STOP And START buttons, hydraulic fluid level, baler's electrical circuit must be locked and tagged, basic operating procedures, compaction of the cardboard by the ram, secure the load with baling wire, personal protective equipment (PPE), wire cutters and left over wire, housekeeping, and preventing fire hazards.
